CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
1970 CORPORATION YARD PAVING PROJECT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council
and published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined
and declared on the 24th day of March , 19 70
for the work to be done and the improvement tO be made'"'as
described and specified:
1970 CORPORATION YARD PAVING PROJECT
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said pro-
posals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract for doing the. work and improvements and
furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment necessary
therefor, to the lowest responsible ~idder, at the unit
prices named in their bid ;o wit:
The Lowrie Pavtr,g Company, Inc.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to
make and enter into a writ:eh contract with said successful
bidder, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
attest his signature and affix thereto' the corporate seal of
the City.
3. That funds shall ~e encumbered as set forth on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisc~ at a reqular, meeting
held on the 6th day of April , 19 70 ,
by the following vote:
