CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND THE
WESTBOROUGH COUNTY WATER DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco, a municipal
corporation, is constructing a street and highway improvement
in Westborough Boulevard right-of-way, which will cross a
12-inch water main of the Westborough County Water District,
a public corporation, as shown on that certain improvement
plan entitled "Westborough Boulevard Station 22+00 to Station
27+00, Revision 3" dated February 16, 1970, prepared by
Theodore V. Tronoff, civil engineer and surveyor, and
WHEREAS, City contends tl~at said Water District is
required to relocate or protect said facility and Water District
contends that City is required to relocate or protect said
facility, and
WHEREAS, City and District desire to provide for the
settlement of the dispute by way of an agreement so as to
permit the improvement work to proceed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco that the execution of the
agreement between the City of South San Francisco, a municipal
corporation, and the Westborough County Water District, a
public corporation, providing for the determination of respon-
sibility as to protection of said facility and the responsibility
of cost therefor as in said agreement contained, is hereby
authorized and the Mayor is authorized to execute said agreement
on behalf of the City and City Clerk attest his signature thereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting
held on the 6th day of April , 19 70 , by
