A RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING ENGINEER'S REPORT,
AND FIXING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING THEREON, UNDER
DIVISION 4 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE
IMPROVEMENT OF 12 MILE CREEK
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, this Council ordered the Director of Public Works,
under Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code, to prepare a
report for the following acquisitions and improvements in said
City, to wit:
la)
The construction of a concrete box drainage culvert in
the existing surface ~drai~age ditch from near the inter-
section of West Orange Av?~nue and Camaritas Avenue east-
erly to and across E1 Camino Real to near the southwest-
erly line of the old Market Street Railway right-of-way,
the confining, stabilizin~ and lining of said existing
surface drainage ditch across said right-of-way, the
construction of a concret.~ box drainage culvert from the
northeasterly end of said ditch near the northeasterly
line of said right-of-way northeasterly across the
Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way and about 50 feet
beyond, and the confining, stabilizing and lining of said
existing surface drainage ditch from the northeasterly
terminus of said culvert ~ontinuing easterly to Colma
Creek, together with the acquisition of all lands and
easements necessary therefor.
b) The acquisition of all .lands and easements and the con-
struction of all work auxiliary to any of the above 'and
necessary to complete the same°
WHEREAS, said report has been completed and presented to
this Council, and this Council has examined said report;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That said report is hereby preliminarily approved
and ordered filed with the City Clerk, who Shall endorse there-
on the fact and date of this approval. ·
2. That Monday, the 15Ch day of June , 1970, at
the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers, City
Hall, South San Francisco, California, are hereby fixed as
the time and place for hearing upon said report.
B. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice
of the hearing on said report in the form provided by law, by
mailing copies of said notice ~t least thirty days prior to the
date of the hearing, postage prepaid, to each person to whom land
in the proposed assessment district is assessed on the last
equalized assessment rbll of said City, at his address as shown
upon such roll, and to each person whether owner in fee or having
a lien upon or legal or equity interest in any land within the
proposed district whose name and address and a designation of the
lands in which he is interested is on file in the office of the
City Clerk.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held this 4th da ~ of ~ay, 1970, by the following
