CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF PUBLIC INTEREST AND
NECESSITY REGARDINC- ACQUISITION OF
BODINSON PROPERTY.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
WHEREAS, the public interest and necessity require
acquisition by City of the estates and interests in the parcels
of land described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto for the
South Airport Widening Project in the City of South San
Francisco, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED THAT:
1. The public interesc and necessity require the acquisi-
tion by the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corpora-
tion in the State of California, of the estates and interests
in the parcels of real property situated in the City of South
San Francisco, State of California, more particularly described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for the South Airport Widening
Project, a highway in the City of South San Francisco, State
of California.
2. Said parcel is suitable, adaptable, necessary and
required for the public use of said City of South San Francisco
to wit, for the construction, operation, maintenance and use
of a highway.
3. The City Attorney is hereby ordered and directed to
commence proceedings to establish the right to use said parcel
for said purposes by an action in eminent domain against the
owners of said parcels of land for any and all interest
therein or claims thereto for the condemnation thereof for
public use of the City of South San Francisco as aforesaid,
and obtain an order of immediate possession, and he is further
authorized to associate as Counsel in the proceeding John
Lynch, Esq., of the firm Wilson, Jones, Morton $ Lynch.

DESCR I PTI ON
All that certain real property situate in the City of South San Francisco,'
County of San Mateo, State of California described as follows:
Beginning at the point described in Parcel Two of the lands described in
the deed from Michel & Pheffer Iron Works Incorporated to the State of
California, dated May 23, 1946 ant recorded October 1, 1946 in-Book 1293
of Official Records of Sao Mateo County at page 412 ( 28844-G ) as being
the beginning of a curve to the right, tangent to a line bearing South
3°59' East and having a radius,of 50', thence along the arc of said curve
~ distance of 12 96 feet, said arc having a central angle of 14°51'il''

to the true point of beginning' ThenCe from the true point of beginn;ng
continuing along the arc of-the above men'c!oned curve a distance of
41.33 feet, said are having a central angle of 47°21'49"; thence leaving
said curve on a tangent bearing South 58°1'4' West a distance of 74.37
feet to the most northerly corner gf Parcel Two, as described in that
certain Quit Claim Deed from George A. Kneese to the State of California,
recorded May 18, 1964 in Book llll of Official Records of San Mateo
County at West a distance of 22.18 feet; thence along the arc of tangent
curve to the right, llaving a radius of 115 feet, a distance of 180.64 feet
( the chord of said curve bearing ~orth 76°46"10'' West and having a length
of 162.63 feet ),. to the most westerly corner of said parcel as described
in the above mentioned quit claim deed ~rom George Kneese to the State of
California, said curve having a central angle of 90°00'00";thence from
this common point of tangency, southeasterly along the arc of a tangent
curve to the left, having a radius of 63.839 feet and central angle of
80°i2'50'', a distance of 89.374 fe~t; thence leaving last described curve

Together with a deed of easement from Bodinson Manufacturing Company to the
City of South San Francisco dated July 31, 1962 and recorded September 19,
1962 in Book 4294 of Official Records of San Mateo County at page 452,
said easement bei. ng more particularly described as follows:
: Beginning at a point in the Northeasterly line of Airport Boulevard
(formerly 01d Bayshore Highway, 125 ~eet wide), said point being
opposite State Highway Engineers Station 256 + 23.97 said point being
North 31°43'50'' West 50.65 feet and North 58°16'10'' East 125.00 fe~t
from the most northerly corner of that certain parcel conveyed by
Y.C. Soda and Helen Soda, his wife, to Leo Smith and Bessie Smith~
