5341
RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS
NOT BEEN MADE TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED
TERRITORY DESIGNATED ROTARY PLAZA ANNEXATION.
RESOLVED by the City "~ouncil of the City of South San
Francisco, California, tha-:
W~IE~S, on MaY 4, 1970 , the Council
adopted Resolution No. 53~_2, entitled "Resolution Giving
Notice of Proposed Annexation To City of South San Francisco
of Uninhabited Territory D:_scribed Herein and Designated
'Rotary Plaza Annexation' and Giving Notice of Time and Place
for Hearing of Protests Th=.reto", upon a Petition for Annexa-
tion filed with said City ~n August 20, 1968, following
approval of said annexation3 by the Local Agency Formation
Commission of the County of San Mateo, State of California,
given in Resolution No. 186, adopted July 18, 1968, by said
Commission, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5312 , herein-
before referred to, Notices of Hearing were duly given and
this Council duly met and convened at the time and place
specified for the purpose of hearing and passing upon all
protests to said proposed annexation and at said hearing
in open public session duly asked for protests, if any, to
the proposed annexation ar.d gave all persons full opportunity
to protest said annexatior~, but received none.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED AND
DECLARED that protest to the proposed annexation to the
City of South San Francisco of the territory designated
as Rotary Plaza Annexatior. and more fully described in
Resolution No. 5312 passed May 4, 1970 , has
not been made by public ar d private owners entitled to
protest therein pursuant to Annexation of Uninhabited
Territory Act of 1939.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held this 15th day of June ,
