CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION AND
DECLARING THE DATE THEREOF, ORDERING THE
~PUBLICATION OF A NC~fICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION
AS REQUIRED BY THE ELECTIONS CODE AND ESTAB-
LISHING THE HOURS DURING WHICH THE POLLS
SHALL BE OPEN.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that a special election is hereby called in the
City of South San Francisco in accordance with the Elections
Code of the State of California to be held on the 15th day of
September, 1970 for the purpose of voting on the following
me as ure:
Shall the Legislative Act of May 18, 1970, which
reads as follows: "That the City of South San
Francisco and County of S~n Mateo proceed with
construction of the overpass at the intersection
of West Orange and Camaritas Avenue along with
the construction of Westb.~rough Boulevard," be
adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the hours during which the
polls shall be opened shall be from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.,
and the City Clerk and other officers shall publish and give
the required notice as set forth in the Elections and Govern-
ment Codes of the State of California.
