HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 139-2011 RESOLUTION NO. 139 -2011 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING $15,880 IN GRANT FUNDING FROM THE BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT PROGRAM; AND AMENDING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S 2011/2012 OPERATING BUDGET WHEREAS, staff recommends the acceptance of a $15,880 grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance Grant Program for the purchase and replacement of a video surveillance recorder and associated equipment; and WHEREAS, there is no matching requirement associated with this grant; and WHEREAS, the grant represents 100% of the total funding for the purchase and replacement of video surveillance equipment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby accepts a grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance Grant Program to purchase and replace a video surveillance recorder and associated equipment; and amends the 2011/2012 Police Department operating budget. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 14 day of December, 2011 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark Addiego, Karyl Matsumoto, and Kevin Mullin, Vice Mayor Pedro Gonzalez and Mayor Richard A.
