A RESOLUTION APPROVING USE PERMIT
ORDER UP-157 ANI VARIANCE 'ORDER V-84
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO that
WHEREAS, the City Council has received the report and
recommendations of the Planning Commission set forth in the
Commission's order made July 13,1970, findings of fact,
summary of hearings, Planning Officer's report, departmental
reports and various documents, exhibits and relatedr~ papers
all of which came on for consideration by the Council at said
Council's regular meeting on the l?th day of August, 1970,
and
WHEREAS, the Council did consider same and made same
part of the record in this matter and evaluated the proposed
Use Permit order and variance order;
NOW THEREFORE IT IB ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. Use Permit Order No.157
The Council does find upon the report and recommen-
dations of the Planning Co~nission set forth in its order made
July 13,1970, findings of fact, summary of hearings, Planning
Officer's report, departmental report and the various documents,
exhibits and related papers, all of which have been considered
~dmade part of the record of the proceeding herein, that said
use will not under the circumstances of the particular case be
detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort,
and general welfare of persons residing or working in the
neighborhood of such proposed use and will not be detrimental
or injurious to property ant improvements in the neighborhood
or the general welfare of tke City, and the Council does
further order that said Use Permit stand granted as recommended
by the Planning Commission and subject to the terms and condi-
tions hereinafter set forth.

2. Variance Order No. 84
The Council finds that the qualifications under
6.31(a) of the Zoning Ordinance applies to the land~ buildings
and use for which the variance is sought and that such variance
is in harmony with the general purpose of the Zoning Ordinance
of the City of South San Francisco, and the Council does
further order that Variance Order No, 84 as made by the
Planning Commisson on July 13,1970, stand granted, subject to
the additional terms and conditions as hereinafter set forth.
3. Terms and Conditions
(a) Complete improvement plans, including,but not
limited to, plat and grading plans showing drainage, sanitary
sewers and all other necessary utility connections,shall be
submitted to the Director of Public Works for approval;
(b) Improvements shall be coordinated with the
Westborough Boulevard Extension project improvements through
the County Engineer's office;
(c) Sidewalk width and transition constructed so as
to be compatible with the overpass plans.
(d) Landscape installation and maintenance shall be
performed in accordance with the plans and specifications and
approval of Landscape Specialist.
(e) No access conditions shall be contained in the
deed from owners to the County of San Mateo for the WeStborough
Boulevard Extension right-of-way.
(f) The surface area of the storm drain shall be
used in a manner so as to not unreasonably interfere with the
storm drain installation.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the

City of South San Francisco, at a regular meeting
held on the ,17th day of August , 1970, by the
following vote:
