A RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING ENGINEER'S
REPORT, AND FIXING TI.~E AND PLACE OF HEARING
THEREON, UNDER DIVISION 4 OF THE STREETS AND
HIGHWAYS CODE
TANFORAN AVENUE-SHAW ROAD STORM DRAINAGE PROJECT
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, this Council ordered the Director of Public
Works, under Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code, to
prepare a report for the following acquisitions and improve-
ments in said City, to wit:
The construction of R.C.Po storm drainage pipes,
manholes, and all appurtenant structures and
facilities from an existing transition structure
in the southwesterly extension of Tanforan Avenue
westerly of the Southern Pacific Railroad right
of way northeasterly across and under said right
of way to and along Tanforan Avenue to San Mateo
Avenue, thence easterly in Shaw Road about 850
feet, thence northeasterly in easements to be
acquired herein to a navigable slough;
The acquisition of all easements and the con-
struction of all improvements auxiliary to any
of the above and necessary to complete the same;
WHEREAS, said report has been completed and presented
to this Council and this Council has examined said report;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS 0REERED, as follows:
~. 1. That said report is hereby preliminarily approved
and ordered filed with the City Clerk, who shall endorse
thereon the fact and date of this approval°
That Monday, the 2]st day of September , 1970,
at the hour of 8:00 o'clock PoMo, in the Council Chambers,
City Hall, South San Franciscc, California, are hereby fixed
as the time and place for hearing upon said report°
~ 5o That the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice
of the hearing on said report i.~ the form provided by law, by
mailing copies of said notice at least thirty days prior to the
date of the hearing, postage pr.~paid, to each person to whom land
in the proposed assessment district is assessed on the last
equalized assessment roll of said City, at his address as shown
upon such roll, and to each person whether owner in fee or having
a lien upon or legal or equity interest in any land within the
proposed district whose name and address and a designation of the
lands in which he is interested is on file in the office of the
City Clerk.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held this 17th day of August, 1970, by the following
vote~
