A RESOLUTION AWARDING SALE OF BONDS
SOUTH MAPLE AVENUE-SOUTH CANAL STREET
RELIEF PUMP AND STORM DRAINAGE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resclution of Intention No. 5277,
adopted by said Council on April 6, 1970, and its resolution
calling for bids on the sale of bonds pursuant thereto, adopted
August 3, 1970, notice of said sale has been duly given;
WHEREAS, said bids have been received by the City Clerk
as fixed in said notice, and have been publicly opened,
examined and declared and have been referred to this Council
for consideration; and
WHEREAS, this is the time and place fixed in said notice
for considering the bids for the purchase of said bonds;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
lo That all written bids received for the purchase of
said bonds, excepting the bid herein stated, be, and they are
hereby rejected, and that said bonds be, and they are hereby
ordered sold to Buel G. Proffitt ,
as the highest responsible bidder therefor, said sale to be
subject to all of the terms and conditions set forth in the
Notice of Sale of said bonds and in said accepted bid.
2. That the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby
directed to have said bonds printed, and that the same be
immediately signed, sealed and delivered to said bidder on
receipt of the amount therefor and upon the perfOrmance of
the conditions contained in said written offer.
3. That the interest rate of said bonds be, and the
same is hereby fixed at the rate stated in said bid.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at
a regula~ meeting held this Sth day of September, 1970, by the following vote:
