A RESOL~ION OF ANARD OF COIfI'RACT
RENTAT] OF DRAGLINE AND RELATED EQUIPMENT
(DREDGING SAND FROM COLMA CREEK)
RESOLVED, by the City ~ouncil of the City of South
San Francisco, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to ~revious order of the City Council
and published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined
and declared on the ?6th ~ay of A~]E~.~t , 19 70
for the work to be done an~ the improvement to be made as
described and specified:
Rental of dra~line (NW-6 or equal) with 2-yard bucket
for dredging sand from Colma Creek
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject al~ of said pro-
posals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract for do~n§ the work and improvements and
furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment necessary
therefor, to the lowest responsible Kidder, at the unit
prices named in their bid to wit:
L. C. Smith Company
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to
make and enter into a writ%eh contract with said successful
bidder, and the City Clerk of said'City is hereby directed to
attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of
the City.
3. That funds shall be encumbered as set forth on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto. ~'
I hereby certifY that the ~oregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting
held on the 8th day of Semtember , 19 70 ,
by the following vote:
