A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS ON
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 5227
TANFORAN AVENUE-SHAW ROAD STORM DRAINAGE PROJECT
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, this Council, on January 5, 1970, adopted its
Resolution of Intention No. 5~27, to acquire and construct
public improvements in and for said City;
WHEREAS, on August 17, lcd?O, this Council adopted a
resolution appointing time and place of hearing protests
in relation to the proposed acquisitions and improvements
and directing notice;
WHEREAS, notice was giver, of the time and place therein
stated in the manner provided by law, as appears from the
affidavits on file in the office of the City Clerk;
WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing at
the .time therein fixed; and
WHEREAS, all written protests and other written com-
munications were publicly read at said meeting, and all
persons desiring to be h~eard were fully heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That protests against said acquisitions and
improvements were not signed by the owners of a majority
or more of the area of the lands within the assessment
district, or of the area of the lands within the assess-
ment district assessed for the costs and expenses of said
work.
2. That said protests be, and each of them are hereby
overruled ~
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the C~.ty Council of the City of South San Francisco at
a regular meeting held this 5th day of October, 1.070, by the following
vote:
