CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
WEED CONTROL PROC-RAM, CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO STREET DEPARTMENT.
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council
and published nonice, bids were publicly opened, examined
and declared on the 27th day of November , 19 70
for the "~work to be done and the improvement to be made-as
describe4 and sp.ecified:
WEED CONTROL PROGRAM, CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO STREET DEPARTMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS DRDERED as follows:

1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said pro-
posals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract for doing the work and improvements and
furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment necessary
therefor, to the lowest respon'sible bidder, at the unit
prices named in their bid to wit:
Chemical We~d & Pest Control Co.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to
.hake and enter into a written contract with said successful
'bidder, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby direcnad to
attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of
the City.
3. That funds shall be encumbered as set forth or,
Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution wa~
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting
hel~ on the V+h day of D~cember , 19 70 ,
