A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND
NECESSITY REQUIRE THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN LAND AND
DIRECTING THE FILING OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS
STONEG~.TE RIDGE UNIT NO. 1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, it is the intention of this City Council to con-
struct and maintain public street improvements in and on the land
hereinafter described,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED as
follows:
1. That the public interest and necessity require the
acquisition, construction and completion of street improvements
and work auxiliary thereto in, over, across and upon the land
more particularly described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by
this reference made a part hereof, within said City, and the taking
of the fee simple title for street purposes in and to said land
is necessary for said improvements.
2. That said proposed acquisition and improvements are
planned and located in the manner which will be most compatible
with the greatest public good and the least private injury, and all
of said acquisition is situate within the City of South San Fran-
cisco, County of San Mateo, State of California.
3. That John NoOnan, City Attorney Of the City of~ S°Uth San
Francisco, and the law firm of Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch be,
and they are, hereby directed to institute and conduct to conclus-
ion an action in eminent domain for the acquisition of the said
land, and to take such action as is necessary therein, and said
law firm of Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch shalI be Paid a reason-
able fee therefor.
4. That an Order for Immediate Possession and Use be obtained
in said action, and that a warrant be issued to the County Clerk,
San Mateo County, California, in the amount determined by the
Court to be so deposited, as a condition to the right of immediate
possession.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a re§u I ar meeting held this 16th
day of February , 19?l, by the following vote:

EXHIBIT "A"
A parcel of land situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San
Mateo, State of California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the southerly line of that certain parcel of land
described in the deed from South San Francisco Land and Improvement
Company to Joe Crosariol, recorded in Volume 2902 of Official Records,
page 748, San Mateo County Records, distant thereon South 73° 15' 32"
East (Deed - S 74° 27' E) 80.00 feet from the southwest corner thereof;
thence continuing along said southerly line, South 73° 15' 32" East (Deed
· S 74° 27' E) 95.00 feet to a point of cusp; thence northwesterly, on the
arc of a curve to .the right, the center of which bears North 1 6° 44' 28"
East, having a radius of 20.00 feet, a central angle of 90° 00' 00", a
distance of 31.42 feet; thence, tangent to the preceding curve, North
16° 44' 28" East 317.23 feet; thence on the arc of a tangent curve to the
right, having a radius of 20.00 feet, a central angle of 14° 29' 00", a
distance of $. 06 feet to a point on the southerly boundary of that certain
map entitled "Map of Stonegate Ridge Unit No. 1, City of South San Fran-
cisco, San Mateo County, California" recorded in Volume 64 of Maps at
Pages 36, 37 & 38, San Mateo County Records; thence westerly, along
last said southerly line, North 73° 15' 32" West 57.27 feet to the south-
easterly comer of Lot 1, Block 3 of said map of Stonegate Ridge Unit No.
1; thence leaving last said line, southeasterly on the arc of a curve to the
right, the center of which bears North 87° 44' 32" West, having a radius
of 20.00 feet, a central angle of 14° 29' 00", a distance of 5.06 feet;
thence tangent to the preceding curve South 16° 44' 28" West 317.23 feet;
thence on the arc of a tangent curve to the right, having a radius of 20.00
feet, a central angle of 90° 00' 00", a distance of 31.42 feet to the Point
of Beginning.
Containing 0.444 Acres, more or less.
Being a portion of the lands described in Volume 2902, O. R., Pages 748
and 749, San Mateo County Records.
