CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING OPINION
OF THE MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL
REGARDING THE SAN MATE0 JUNIOR
COLLEGE DISTRICT TAX PROPOSAL.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the members of the Council, having con-
sidered: The need for the tax proposed by the San Mateo
Junior College District, the benefits which will accrue to
many students who reside in South San Francisco, and the
resulting contribution to the welfare of this community,
and being aware that the determination whether said proposal
should be approved is a responsibility of the individual
elector, do express to the electors of this community for
their consideration the opinion of the members of this Council
that the tax proposal merits approval.
