CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OPPOSING THE DELETION
OF ROUTE 82 (EL CAMINO REAL) FROM
THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The Council does hereby oppose the deletion of Route
82 (El Camino Real) from the State Highway System and does
further oppose the release or designation of that portion of
E1 Camino Real (Route 82) in the City of South San Francisco
as a local street under the jurisdiction of the City of South
San Francisco.
2. The Council does authorize the City Manager to make
or cause to be made any and all communications and reports
and to take any other actions necessary to fully advise the
Department of Public Works and the Division of Highways or
any other executive or legislative office of the State of
California that the Council of the City of South San Francisco
does oppose the deletion of E1 Camino Real from State Highway
System and does further oppose the designation of said
highway as a local street for maintenance by the City of
South S an Francis co.
3. The Council does authorize the City Manager to join
with other jurisdictions and agencies in opposing the deletion
of E1 Camino Real (Route 82) from the State Highway System.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City, Council of the
