RESOLUTION NO. 5620
CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION
OF A PARCEL OF LAND DESIGNATED AS
THE KIESSLING PARCEL.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The Council authorizes the acquisition of a parcel
of land described as follows, said acquisition to be made in
accordance with the Offer to Purchase Real Property dated
July 23, 1971, submitted by John Penna, Real Estate Broker,
Trus tee:
All that certain real property situate in the City
of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State
of California, described as follows:
Lot 19, Block 125, as designated on the map entitled
"South San Francisco, San Mateo Co. Cal, plat No. 1",
which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of
the County of San Marco, State of California on
March 1, 1892 in Book "B" of Maps at page 8 and a copy
entered in Book 2 of Maps at page 52.
2. The Council authorizes the City Clerk to issue warrants
or checks in the total sum of Twenty-seven Thousand Five Hundred
Dollars ($27,500.00) to be deposited in escrow as the purchase
price for said parcel: Two Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty
Dollars ($2,750.00) of which has previously been deposited with
the Offer to Purchase.
8. The Council authorizes the City Clerk to pay Title
Insurance and Trust Company the sum of One Hundred Eighty
Dollars and Fifty Cents ($180.50) for title policy fees and
escrow costs
4. The Council authorizes the City Attorney to issue the
necessary escrow instructions to carry out the purposes of this
resolution and the Offer to Purchase Real Property heretofore

5. The Council authorizes the City Clerk to accept
the deed for said parcel and record or cause recordation
thereof in the office of the County Recorder in the County
of San Mateo.
