CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
ACQUISITION OF PERSON
AND SWANSON PARCEL
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that:
1. Execution of Agreement. Execution of the Agreement
entitled, "Contract of Purchase and Sale and of Release"
providing for the acquisition by City from Oscar F. Person,
Eva Person, his wife; Marshall V. Swanson and Beverly A.
Swanson, his wife, the parcel known as a portion of Lot 28
in Block 1, Person and Swanson Industrial Tract, South San
Francisco, San Mateo County, California, as described in
said Agreement and on the terms as set forth in said Agree-
ment, is hereby authorized; and the Mayor has authorized
to execute said Agreement on behalf of City, and City Clerk
attests his signature thereto.
2. Escrow Instructions. The City Attorney and John
Lynch, Esq. of the firm of Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch,
are hereby authorized to issue escrow instructions to carry
out the purposes of said Agreement.
3. Acceptance of Deed. The City Attorney be and he is
hereby authorized to accept on behalf of the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco a Grant Deed conveying interest
in real property described below, and he is further authorized
to execute a Certificate of Acceptance and record or cause re-
cordation of said Grant Deed in the official records of the
County of San Mateo.

Description of Property
"A portion of Lot 28 in Block 1 as shown on that
certain map entitled, 'Person and Swanson Indus-
trial Tract, South San Francis co, San Mateo County,
California', filed in the office of the County Re-
corder of San Mateo County on September 5, 1961 in
Book 55 of Maps at pages 12 and 13, being more par-
ticularly described as follows:
"BEGINNING at a point on the Easterly lin~ of
said Lot 28 distant thereon North 11° 39' East
81.50 feet from the Southeast corner thereof;
running thence from said point of beginning,
North 78° 21' West 214.47 feet to the Westerly
line of said Lot 28; thence along said Westerly
line, North 13° 22' 42" East 142.88 feet to the
Northeasterly line of.said Lot 28; thence along
the boundary lines of said Lot 28~ South 54° 31'
15" East 229.?4 feet and South 11° 39' West
50 feet to the point of beginning. Containing
20~569 square feet, more or less."
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
