HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5624-1971RESOLUTION NO. 5624 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MRS. ELDA JEKOT AND MRS. NORMA BOIKE WHEREAS, Mrs. Elda Jekot on Sunday, August 8, 1971, aided in the rescue of Barry Green and Troy Lind who were trapped in an abandoned refrigerator, and, WHEREAS, .Mrs. Elda Jekot and Mrs. Norma Boike by using first-aid procedures revived Troy Lind whose pulse had slowed to the danger point, and, WHEREAS, their timely and efficient action saved the life of Troy Lind and the Council desires to commend them therefor, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City COuncil of the City of South San Francisco that the Council does hereby commend Mrs. Elda Jekot and Mrs. Norma Boike for their timely and efficient action which saved the life of Troy Lind. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a meeting held on the 16th day of by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN NOES, " ABSENT, " regular Aug.~t , 19 71 , Patrick E.
