CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF A PERMIT TO
CALIFORNIA WATER SERVICE UNDER COLMA CREEK
(DOMESTIC AND FIRE SERVIDE, KAISER FOUNDATION
HOSPITALS ) ' ~
BE IT RESOLVED by the City CounciI of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1) A Permit be issued to California Water Service Com-
pany to construct and install water line facilities under
Colma Creek as shown on the following plats:
a) The plat entitled "Extension to Kaiser Hospital
from E1 Camino Real g Mission Road," Drawing No. S.S.F.
2161-R2, dated 8/31/70, drawn by R. Navarrete (California
Water Service Co. Engineering Department, South San Fran-
cisco District)
b) The plat entitled "Typical Section Colma Creek
Proposed Pipe Line Crossing," Drawing No. SSF-2211R-1,
dated 7/30/71, drawn by Robert Warner (California Water
Service Co. Engineering Department, South San Francisco
Dis tri ct )
2) The California Water Service Company may construct,
lay, maintain, operate, alter, repair, inspect, and relocate
within the designated Colma Creek crossing a sub-surface water
line facility at the depth shown on the plats. California
Water Service Company shall file an as-built plan with the
City Clerk and Director of Public Works.
3) Any relocation of the water line facility required
by the City or other agency in the improvement of Colma Creek
shall be at the expense of California Water Service Company.

4) Upon completion of the installation of the
water line facility, submission of the as-built plans,
and preparation of a metes and bounds description, the
City is authorized to establish an easement for said
facility on the same terms as provided for this Permit.
5) California Water Service Company shall hold harm-
less and indemnify City and its elective and appointive
officers and employees for any claims arising out of the
maintenance and operation of said water line facility by
California Water Service Company and its successors in
interest and assigns.
