RESOLVED, ~y the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order 6f the City Council
and .published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined
and declared on the 8,h day of September , 19 71
for the work to be done and the improvement to be made as
described and specified' ·~.
RENTAL OF DRAGLINE EQUIPME[NT FOR DREDGING SAND
g SILT FROM COLMA CREEK $ TRIBUTARIES--1971
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said pro-
posals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract for doing the work and improvements and
furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment, neces, sary
therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, at the unit
prices named in their bid to wit:
'Barton Const~ruction Company for. the' rental of the mobile
tru~k crane with 3/4-yard bucket.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to
make and enter into a written contract with said successful
bidder, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
attest his sign.ature and affix thereto the corporate seal of
the City. ~
3. That funds shall be encumbered as set forth on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a reqular · meeting
