A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
RENTAL OF DRAGLINE EQUIPMENT FOR DREDGING SAND

RESOLVED, ~y the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order 0f the City Council
and .published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined
and declared on the_ 8th day of September , 1~1
for the work to be done ahd the improvement to be made as
~escribed and specified' ~
RENTAL OF DRAGLINE EQUIPMENT FOR DREDGING SAND

~OW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said pro-
posals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby
.awards the contract for doing the work and improvements and
furnishing the materials, supplies an~ equipment necessary
therefor, to the lowest responsible bzdder, at the unmt
prices named in their bid to wit:
Arthur '"Buzz" Haskins for the rental of dragline Northwest-6
or &qual with 2-yard bucket'
~. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to
make and enter into a written contract with said successful
' bidder, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of
the City. ~

3. That funds shall be encumbered as set forth on
-Exhibit '~" attached hereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular- meeting
held on the 20th day of Seotember , 19 71 ,
