CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE
YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that:
1. The Council recognizes the Youth Advisory Council,
a private organization, as a valuable source of public ex-
pression regarding community affairs, but does not at this
time make the Youth Advisory Council part of the government
structure of the City of South San Francisco, nor authorize
it to act for said City;
2. The Council intends to review or have reviewed the
various forms of Youth Councils and related laws to deter-
mine which form is best suited to serve the interests of the
youth of this community and promote the welfare of the com-
munity, and whether the Youth Advisory Council in its present
form or another form should be made a part of the City. govern-
ment structure.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held
on the 20th day of Se0tember , 19 71 , by the
following vote:
