CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING
FEDERAL-AID URBAN SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the Federal Highway Act of 1970 established
the Federal-Aid Urban System, and
WHEREAS, the recently completed Functional Classifica-
tion Study has been recommended as a basis for determining
routes to be included in the Urban System, and
WHEREAS, the Functional Classification Study is a con-
tinuing joint process between the Division of Highways and
local agencies,
BE IT RESOLVED,. that the City of South San Francisco
support the use of Functional Classification System for de-
termining the Federal-Aid Urban System and other present and
future Federal-Aid Systems, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City approves the
interim Federal-Aid systems within its jurisdiction as de-
lineated on the attached map with the reservation that such
systems are subject to periodic review and updating as needed.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at .an adjourned regular meeting
held on the 29th day of September , 19 71 ,
