CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO CONSENT TO
CANCELLATION OF TAXES ON PROPERTY 'ACQUIRED 'FOR PUBLIC USE
AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO AUTHORIZE CAN-
CELLATION OF COUNTY TAXES AND THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY TO
CONSENT THERETO (PERSON g SWANSON INDUSTRIAL PARK)
BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that-
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco, on August 2?,
1971, acquired certain parcel of real property for public pur-
poses, to wit: enlargement of flood control right-of-way and
use as a spoils area, and said parcel is hereinafter more
particularly described, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City desires to
authorize the City Attorney to consent to the cancellation
of taxes pursuant to Section 4986.2 of the Revenue and Taxa-
tion Code of the State of California, and, further, requests
the Board of Supervisors for the County of San Mateo to autho-
rize cancellation of County taxes and the District Attorney of
said County to consent thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that:
1) The City attorney of the City of South San Francisco
is authorized to consent to cancellation of taxes on those
Parcels of real property acquired for public purpose, to wit-
enlargement of flood control right-of-way and use as a spoils
area, said site being particularly described as follows:
A portion of Lot 28 in Block 1 as shown on that
certain map entitled, "Person and Swanson Indus-
trial Tract, South San Francisco, San Mateo County,
California," filed in the office of the County Re-
corder of San Mateo County on September 5, 1961 in
Book 55 of Maps at pages 12 and 13, being more par-
ticularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the Easterly line of said
Lot 28 distant thereon North 11° 39' East 81.50 feet
from the Southeast corner thereof; running thence
from said point of beginning, North 78° 21' West
214.47 feet to the Westerly line of said Lot 28; thence
along said Westerly line, North 13° 22' 42" East 142.88
feet to the Northeasterly line of said Lot 28; thence
along the boundary lines of said Lot 28, South 54° 31'
1S" East 229.74 feet and South 11° 39' West 50 feet to
the point of beginning.

2) That this Resolution be filed with the Board of
Supervisors of the County of San Mateo and the District
Attorney of the County of San Mateo, and be deemed a re-
quest to said Board of Supervisors and District Attorney
to authorize and consent, respectively, to cancellation
of taxes on said parcel of real property.
