CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION REGARDING HILLSIDE-RANDOLPH INTER- CHANGE WITH BAYSHORE FREEWAY
WHEREAS, the urgently needed Hillside-Randolph Express-
way is included in the Master Plans for Arterial Highways of
the City of South San Francisco, and County of San Mateo, and,
WHEREAS, the orderly and safe routing of traffic at the
intersection of Hillside-Randolph Expressway with Bayshore
Freeway and Southern Pacific Railroad track will require an
interchange, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to have the State Divi-
sion of Highways construct such an interchange;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco that:
1. The City Council hereby respectfully requests the
State Division of Highways to construct an interchange for
the intersection of the Hillside-Randolph Expressway with Bay-
shore Freeway and Southern Pacific Railroad track.
2. The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to
send a copy of this Resolution to the State Division of High-
ways and the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors.
3. The Director of Public Works shall advise the City
Manager as to the progress being made and the final report
of the Division of Highways regarding same.
