HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5688-1971RESOLUTION NO. 5688 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE CEMETERY STRIKE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that: 1. Request be made to all concerned in the cemetery strike to put aside differences which have so long delayed burial of the dead and added grief to relatives and friends of the deceased. 2. Support be given to Guy Wright in his appeal to Ronald Reagan and others to find ways to resolve the impasse which prevents the burial of the dead and imposes ef~tended periods of grief on relatives and friends of the deceased. 3. Copies of this Resolution be sent to the Cemetery Associations, representatives of the several unions, Governor Ronald Reagan, and Guy Wright. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of. the City of South San Francisco at a held on the 4th day of by the following vote: regular meeting October , 19 71 , AYES, COUNCILMEN NOES, " ABSENT, " Patrick E.
