HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5694-1971 RESOLUTION NO. 5694 A RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION UNDER DIVISION 4 OF THE SKEETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE ANTOINETTE LANE STREET OPENING PROJECT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San FranCisco, California, that lo The public interest, convenience and necessity require, and' that it is the intention of this Council to undertake certain acquisi- tions and improvements within said City and to assess the cost thereof on lands benefited thereby, said acquisitions and improvements being described as follows: a) The opening of a new street to be known as Antoinette Lane from the intersection of Chestnut Avenue and Mission Road southeasterly to the 12-mile Creek culvert, and the improving thereof by grading and the construction therein of base pave- ment and wearing surface, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, street lighting facilities, underground electrical, telephone and cable TV facilities, water mains, valves, hydrants, services and appurtenances and storm drainage work'as required. b) The acquisition of all lands and easements and the construc- tion of all improvements auxiliary to any of the above and necessary to complete the same. 2. Reference is hereby made to the map or plat showing the general nature, location and extent of said acquisitions and improvements for a further description of said work and for all particulars relating thereto, which map or plat is on file in the office of the City Clerk and open to public inspection. 3. The costs thereof will be assessed upon a district benefited thereby, the exterior boundaries of which are as shown on a map thereof · on file in the office of the City Clerk to which reference is hereby made for further particulars. 4. That proceedings for said acquisitions and improvements shall be conducted ~pursuant to Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code (the Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1913) and the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913 and bonds shall be issued pursuant to the Improvement Bond Act of 1915. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 18th day of October, 1971, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN NOES, ABSENT, " Patrick E.
