CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE ADMINISTRATIVE
OFFICER TO MEET AND CONFER IN ACCORDANCE
WITH GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 3500 ET SEQ.,
AND APPROVING DELEGATION OF CERTAIN PERSON-
NEL OFFICER'S DUTIES.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
WHEREAS, the Council, pursuant to Government Code section
3500 et seq., and particularly section 3505, is empowered to
designate a representative to meet and confer in good f~ith
regarding wages, hours and other terms and conditions of
employment with representatives of recognized employee organ-
izations, and
WHEREAS, Section 3 of Ordinance 449, passed March 2~
1960, as amended, designates the City Manager as Personnel
Officer and provides that he may with approval of Council,
"delegate any of the powers and duties conferred upon him as
Personnel Officer under this Ordinance to any other officer
or employee of the City."
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED THAT:
Administrative Assistant acting
1. The for the CitV Manager is hereby desig-
nated as the representative to meet and confer in good faith
regarding wages, hours and other conditions of employment with
representatives of the recognized employee organizations.
2. The Council hereby approves delegation by the City
Manager to Administrative Assistant of all or any
of the powers and duties set forth in Ordinance 449, passed
March 21, 1960.~ as amended, and related Personnel Rules and
Regulations.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a rec~ular meeting held
on the 20th day of December , 19 71 , by the
following vote:
