CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION IN MEMORY OF ANDREW ROCCA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco shares with the family and many friends of Andrew
Rocca, deceased, a deep sorrow on this occasion, and
WHEREAS, Andrew Rocca, deceased, was prominently identi-
fied with the development and growth of South San Francisco,
having served as Mayor, Councilman, and Chairman of the Plan-
ning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco holds a respectful memory of Andrew Rocca, deceased,
and esteems him for his integrity, sincerity, sound business
judgment and above all for his character as a man and his
untiring interest in civic progress demonstrated by many
years of outstanding service as a public spirited citizen,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco desires to make this expression of condolences
to the family of Andrew Rocca, deceased;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco does hereby express sincere
condolences to the family of Andrew Rocca, deceased, in this
moment of their great personal loss and further by this
Resolution records its respect for his contribution to the
welfare of this City.
