A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST
AND NECESSITY DEMAND THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that it be, and it is hereby, ordered
and determined, as follows:
1. That the public interest and necessity demand the
acquisition, construction and completion of the following
municipal improvements, to wit:
(a) The acquisition, construction and completion
of additions, extensions and improvements to the City's
sanitary sewerage treatment and disposal plant system
and works.
2. That the acquisitions and improvements mentioned in
the foregoing section of this resolution are necessary and
convenient to carry out the objects, purposes and powers of
the City.
3. That the cost of said acquisitions and improvements
mentioned in said preceding section will be too great to be
paid out of the ordinary accumulation of income and revenue
of the City and said acquisitions and improvements will
require expenditures greater than the amount allowed for
them by the annual tax levy of said City and will necessitate
the incurring of bonded indebtedness.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held this 17th day of January, 1972,
by the following vote:
