HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5753-1972 RESOLUTION NO. 5753 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING OF WRITTEN ARGUMENT FOR CITY MEASURE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that WHEREAS, at a special municipal election to be held on April 11, 1972, the following proposition will be submitted to the qualified voters of the City of South San Francisco~ PROPOSITION: (Sewerage Treatment and Disposal Works · and System) "Shall the City of South San Francisco incur a bonded indebtedness of $600,000, in accordance with the provisions of the ordinance calling the election at which this proposition is submitted, Tor the acquisition, construction and completion of additions, extensions and improvements to the City's sanitary sewerage treatment and disposal plant system and works ?" NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED and ORDERED, that the City Council, being the legislative body of the City of South San Francisco, hereby authorizes Mayor William A o Borba, Councilman Patrick E. Ahern, Councilman Frank Jo Bertucelli, Councilman F. Frank Mammini~ and Councilman Warren Steinkamp, to file a written argument for said City Measure in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 3, Division 4 of the Elections Code of the State of California, and to change such argument until and including the date fixed by the City Clerk, after which no argument for or against the Measure may be submitted to him° I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 7th day of February, 1972, by the following vote: AYES, COUNC I LMEN Patrick E.
