HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5762-1972 RESOLUTION NO. 5762 A RESOLUTION DIRECTING MAKING OF AMENDED ASSESSMENT RE CERTAIN ASSESSMENTS UNDER RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 3133 LITTLEFIELD AVENUE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ASSESSMENT NO. 6 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Cit'y of South San Francisco, San Mateo County, California, that WHEREAS, an assessment and diagram was made and filed with the City Clerk of said City all pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 3133, adopted by the City Council of said City on February 6, ~961, and the provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, and said assessment was confirmed by said Council on June 5, 1961, and recorded in the office of the Superintendent of Streets of said City; and WHEREAS, certain lots or parcels of land upon which there are unpaid assessments against which bonds have been is'sued under the Improvement BOnd Act of 1915, have been divided so that they no longer conform to the original parcel boundaries as shown on said assessment; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that: 1. Louis H. Goss, City Engineer, shall cause to be prepared and filed with the City Clerk a report and amended assessment and diagram of the lots or parcels so divided, said parcels being designated Assessment No. 6. 2. That the unpaid installments of said original assessment shall be segregated and apportioneed in accordance with the bene- fits to the several parts of the original lot or parcel and the total amount of the assessments of the several portions of the original lot or parcel shall be equal to the unpaid assessments upon said original lot or parcel of land. 3. That Monday, the 6th day of March, 1972, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the regular meeting place of said Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, South San Francisco, California, be, and the same are hereby, fixed as the time and place for hearing said amended assessment before said Council. 4. That the City Clerk of said City shall advertise the time and place of such hearing before the Council by publishing a notice of said amended assessment twice in the South San Francisco Enter- prise Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in said City, the first 'publication being not less than fifteen (15) days before said hearing. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 7th day of February, 1972, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN Patrick E.
