A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT
IMPROVEMENT OF 12 MILE CREEK
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, said Council did, on the 7th day of February, 1972,
adopt its resolution ordering the Engineer to make and file with
the City Clerk an amended assessment of the parcel of property,
the former assessment for which, under Resolution of Intention
No. 5293 adopted by said Council on May 4, 1970, is designated
upon the original assessment and diagram confirmed by 'said ..Council
on June 15, 1970, as Diagram and Assessment No. 9;
WHEREAS, pursuant Co said resolution ordering same, the
Engineer has filed with the City Clerk an amended assessment
and diagram;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed the 20th day of March, 1972,
as the time for hearing said amended assessment and caused
notice of said hearing to be published twice, the first publi-
cation being fifteen days before said hearing, as appears from
the affidavit on file in the office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing,
no protests or objections were made or presented to the pro-
posed amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining
to said amended assessment were duly heard and considered by
said Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that said amended assess-
ment and diagram filed with the City Clerk of this City pursuant
to resolution ordering same, be, and the same is hereby ratified,
approved and confirmed.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the City Clerk shall deliver
said amended assessment to the Superintendent of Streets,
together with a certified copy of this resolution thereto
attached, and said Superintendent of Streets shall thereupon
record such amended assessment with a certificate at the end
thereof by the City Clerk that it is ~the amended assessment
approved and confirmed by said Council on March 20, 1972.
The Superintendent of Streets shall note opposite the
assessment in said original diagram and assessment that it has'~
been displaced by said amended assessment, giving its date,
and shall credit such amended assessment with all payments
theretofore made upon such original assessment. When said
amended assessment has been recorded, the Superintendent of
Streets shall cause the original assessment involved to be
cancelled.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the City Clerk shall cause
a copy of the amended assessment diagram to be recorded in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo and
to be cross-indexed with the original assessment diagram
filed therein.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held this 20th day of March, 1972, by the following
vote:
