CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATIONS
FOR GRANTS FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO WASTE-
WATER TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL FACILITIES
UNDER CLEAN WATER BOND ACT, STATUTES
OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA OF 1970,
CHAPTER 508, AND THE FEDERAL WATER
POLLUTION CONTROL ACT, AS AMENDED,
33 U.S.C. 466, ET SEQ.
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,
SAN MATE0 COUNTY (AS CENTRAL
AGENCY FOR JOINT ~PROJECT)
RESOLVED, by the City Counci.1 of City of South San
Francisco, San Mateo County, California, that
WHEREAS, the best interests of said City, and its
inhabitants, will be served by authorizing applications
for funds pursuant to the Clean Water Bond Act, Statutes of
the State of California of 1970, Chapter.508, and the Federal
Water Pollution Control Act, as amended, 33 U.S.C. 466, et
seq., for construction grants for the Wastewater Management
Program, Phase I P~oject;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. That City of South San Francisco, San Mateo County
shall apply for construction..grants for the Wastewater Manage-
ment Program, Phase I Project pursuant to the Clean Water
Bond Act, Statutes of the State of California of 1970,
Chapter 508, and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act,
as amended, 33 U.S.C. 466 et seq.
2. That the City Public Works Director, for and on
behalf of the City of South San Francisco, San Mateo County,
is hereby authorized and instructed to prepare, execute and
file applications and all related documents thereto for said
grants.
3. That said City Public Works Director is further
authorized to file amendments and supplements to said applica-
tions, from time to time as may be required.

4. That sufficient copies of this resolution, duly
certified, be transmitted to appropriate authorities with
the applications herein authorized·
