HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5815-1972 RESOLUTION N0. 5815 A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS ON RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 5697 ANTOINETTE LANE STREET OPENING PROJECT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT RESOLVED~ by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that WHEREAS, this Council, on October 18, 1971, .adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 5697 to acquire and con- struct public improvements in and for said City; WHEREAS, on February 7, 1972, this Council adopted a resolution appointing time and place of hearing protests in relation to the proposed acquisitions and improvements, and directing notice; WHEREAS~ notice was given of the time and place therein ~stated in the manner provided by law, as appears from the affidavits on file in the office of the City Clerk; ~tEREAS.~ said matter came on regularly for hearing at the time therein fixed; and ~KERE^S~ all written protests and other written com- munications were publicly read at said meeting and all persons desiring to be heard were fully heard; NOW~ THEREFORE~ IT IS ORDERED~ as follows: 1. That protests against said acquisitions and improve- ments were not signed by the owners of a majority or more of the area of the lands within the assessment district~ or of the area of the lands within the assessment district assessed for the costs and expenses of said work° 2o That said protests be, and each of them are hereby overruled o I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City ~Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regu- lar meeting held this 17th day off, April, 1972, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN Patrick E.
