CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING FRANK PACELLI.
WHEREAS, Frank Pacelli has completed fifteen years of
public service with the City of Daly City and has chosen to
retire from public life of that City, and
WHEREAS, he matriculated in San Francisco public schools
and later attended the University of San Francisco and applied
his educational skills to become a successful stationery store
operator, and
WHEREAS, these years of maturation led to numerous posi-
tions of responsibility in public life including: Fifteen
years as City Councilman of Daly City, two-time Mayor of that
City, past president and director of the League of California
Cities, past president of North County Council of Cities,
member of the governing board of the Daly City Redevelopment
Agency, delegate to ABAG, member of the San Francisco Airport
Access Committee, member of ABAG Regional Planning Commission,
member of North County Council of Cities' Mayors, and
WHEREAS, he contributed his constructive efforts to civic
activities including: Chairman of Freeway Commission, Westlake
Catholic Men's Club, Chairman of the Heart Fund, member of the
Board of Governors for Daly City District for Boy Scouts
and past director of the San Francisco Bay Area for the United
Crus adc;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco that this Council does commend
and honor Frank Pacelli for the years of service given to
the City and community of Daly City.
