CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING DANIEL J. MODENA.
WHEREAS, Daniel J. Modena has completed more than four
years of public service with the City of Pacifica and will
retire upon the expiration of his current term as City Council-
man of Pacifica, and
WHEREAS, during these years of public service he took
strong supportive positions for major Pacifica projects,
to wit: Sewer treatment plant installation, consolidation of
the City's water district, completion of Highway 380 and
other important roadwork projects, and
WHEREAS, his educational training at the University of
Santa Clara and Hastings College of the Law was constructively
and affably applied to the work of the Pacifica City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco that this Council does commend
and honor Daniel Modena for his years of public service to 'the
City of Pacifica.
