CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO ROD AND GUN CLUB.
WHEREAS, the South San Francisco Rod and Gun Club has
contributed to the welfare of this community by aiding
programs beneficial to youth, and
WHEREAS, many of the contributions were made to the
Police Athletic League in the form of building use, instruc-
tions and donations for sporting events, and
WHEREAS, the South San Francisco Rod and Gun Club has
also aided many other organizations, particularly with
instructions in the proper and safe use of firearms through
the "Hunter's Safety Course," which courses are given fre-
quently by qualified members of the Rod and Gun Club, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to commend them
the re for;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco that the Council does hereby
commend the South San Francisco Rod and Gun Club for con-
tributing to the welfare of this community as set forth
ab ove.
