HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5851-1972 RESOLUTION NO. 5851 A RESOLUTION AWARDING SALE OF BONDS CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO $600,000 WATER POLLUTION CONTROL BONDS OF 1972 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, as follows: WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5840, adopted by said Council on May 1, 1972, calling for bids on the sale of bonds, notice of said sale has been duly given; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed therein for receiving bids for the purchase of said bonds, said bids were received and publicly opened, examined and declared, and referred to this Council for its consideration; NOW., THEREFORE, iT IS HEREBY DETERMINED and ORDERED~ as follows~ 1o That all written bids received for the purchase of said bonds, excepting the bid herein stated, be, and they are hereby, rejected, and that said bonds be, and they are hereby, ordered sold to Bank of America, N.Y. & S.A. and Associates as the highest responsible bidder therefor, said sale to be subject to all of· the terms and conditions set forth in the Notice of Sale of said bonds and in said accepted bid. 2o That the interest rate of said bonds be, and the same is , hereby, fixed at the rate stated in said bid° 3. That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby, directed to have said bonds printed, and that the same be immediately signed, sealed and delivered to said bidder on receipt of the amount therefor and upon the performance of the conditions contained in said written offer.
