HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5854-1972RESOLUTION NO. 5854 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT AND A PORTION OF CABOT COURT, CABOT, CABOT & FORBES INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT 1-C BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that: WHEREAS, a public utility easement adjacent to Cabot-.oCourt and Cabot Court were dedicated to the City of South San Francisco by a certain subdivision map entitled "CABOT, CABOT & FORBES INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. i-C, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, SAN MATEO COUNTY,~ CALIFORNIA," recorded on September 23, 1968 in Volume 68 of Maps at Pages 20 and 21, San Mateo County Records, and, WHEREAS, for five consecutive years next preceding this date a portion of the public utility easement and portions of Cabot Court have not been used for the purposes for which same were dedicated, or ever used since said dedication and same are unnecessary for prospective public use, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that: 1. Portions of easement hereinafter described are un- necessary for present or prospective public use and the public interest, convenience and necessity require, and the Council does hereby order, the vacation and abandonment of a. The portions of Cabot Court described as Parcels 1 and 2 in Exhibit "A" attached hereto b. The portion of a five-foot public utility easement described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto. 2. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution, attested under the seal of the City, to be re- corded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo. lo I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a held on the ..5th day of June by the following vote: regul ar meeting , 19 72 , AYES, COUNCILMEN Patrick E.
