CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
TOPICS PROJECT, INSTALLATION OF
TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT: VICTORY AVENUE
AT SOUTH SPRUCE AVENUE, JUNIPERO
SERRA BOULEVARD AT KING DRIVE, SAN
MATEO AVENUE AT SOUTH LINDEN AVENUE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council
and published notice, bids were publicly opened, exaunined s_nd
declared on the 8th day of June , 1972 , for the
work to be done and the improvement to be made as described
and specified:
TOPICS PROJECT, INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS
AT: VICTORY AVENUE AT SOUTH SPRUCE AVENUE,
JUNIPER0 SERRA BOULEVARD AT KING DRIVE, SAN
MATE0 AVENUE AT SOUTH LINDEN AVENUE;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDEREDas follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said
proposals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and upon
approval of the required Federal and/or State agencies and
the filing of said approvals with the City Clerk, the con-
tract for doing the work and improvements and furnishing the
materials, supplies and equipment necessary therefor shall
stand awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, at the unit
prices named in their bid to wit.:
Arc Electric Co.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized
to make and enter into a written contract with said successful
bidder, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of
the City.
3. That funds shall be encumbered as set forth on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto.

regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a
