CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMP[ENDING RONALD SULLIVAN.
WHEREAS, Ronald Sullivan has completed fourteen years of
service with the Police Department of South San Francisco and
now retires in the capacity of Community Relations-Public
Information Officer, and
WHEREAS, Ron faithfully served the department in a variety
of ways, to wit: Patrolman, court officer, business license
officer, warrant officer, and detective, and
WHEREAS, he is credited with the origination of the
"Hunter Safety Program" wherein youth are inculcated with the
safety rules of hunting, and
WHEREAS, he is well respected by his peers for his con-
tinuing interest in world affairs and in particular govern-
mental affairs as demonstrated by his avid reading and attend-
ance of political meetings, and
WHEREAS, he has demonstrated his devotion to his family;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco that this Council does commend
and honor Ronald Sullivan for his constructive and devoted
efforts to the Police Department and citizens of this City.
