CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT
NO. 019 -N WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
REGIONAL GAP CLOSURE PROJECT LOCATED IN THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
WHEREAS, City of South San Francisco (City) staff recommends approval of the program
supplement agreement No. 019 -N between the State of California Department of Transportation and
the City of South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, the City is eligible to receive federal funding for various bicycle improvement
projects throughout the City, through the California Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, the program supplemental agreement must be executed with the California
Department of Transportation before any such federal funds can be obtained; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to delegate authorization to execute this agreement and any
amendments with the California Department of Transportation to the City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby approves the Program Supplemental Agreement No. 019 -N
between the City and the California Department of Transportation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the Program Supplemental Agreement No. 019 -N
on behalf of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, subject to approval as to form by
the City Attorney.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 14 day of March,
2012 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark Addiego, Karyl Matsumoto, and Kevin Mullin,
Vice Mayor Pedro Gonzalez and Mayor Richard A. Garbarino
