CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY ATTORNEY
TO COMMENCE EMINENT DOMAIN~PROCEEDINGS
(MAZZANTI PARCEL.)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO that'
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised regarding.
appraisals for the parcel designated as the Mazzanti parcel,
and further advised regarding negotiations now in progress
between the City Manager and the owner of said parcel for the
acquisition of said parcel for parks and recreation purposes;
and
WHEREAS, the CounCil has instructed the City Manager
regarding offers the City desires to make to the owner for
the acquisition of said parcel;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that'
1. The negotiations now in progress for acquisition
of the parcel designat'ed as the Mazzanti parcel shall continue
and that at the appropriate time eminent domain proceedings
be undertaken to acquire said parcel.
2. That the City Attorney ~be and he is hereby
authorized to commence said eminent domain proceedings when
the acquisition price and other matters now being negotiated
have reached a point where such an action is approPriate.
