HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5992-1972RESOLUTION NO. 5992 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO UNDERTAKE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW POLICE STATION FA- CILITY, AND DETERMINING METHOD OF FINANCING THEREFOR CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, as follows: WHEREAS, studies have established that the continued provision of effective law enforcement for City residents urgently requires a new police station facility; WHEREAS, the nonprofit corporation method of financing is the most expeditious and ultimately least costly method of fi- nancing the new police station facility. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DECLARED as follows: That a new police station facility shall be constructed, the financing therefor to be by bonds of a nonprofit corporation formed for such purpose, and the City Manager is directed to forth- with implement the determination herein made. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a held this 4th day of December following vote: AYES, C OUNC ILMEN regular meeting , 1972, by the Gordon T.
