HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 6016-1973 RESOLUTION NO. 60] 6 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURES FOR FLOOD RELIEF WORK. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that due to the extraordinary flood occurring on January 16 and 18, 1973, and the continued threat of such hazards, and the declaration of existence of a local emergency made by the Director of Emergency Services pursuant to Ordinance 622, the public interest and necessity demand the immediate expenditure of public monies to safeguard life, health and property in the City of South San Francisco, and upon adoption of this resolution, the City Manager and Director of Public Works are authorized to spend the sums required in the emer- gency to safeguard life, health and property, not to exceed the sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($ I00.000.00 ).
