HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 6018-1973 RESOLUTION NO. 6018 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION IN MEMORY OF COUNCILMAN GORDON BOBLiTT. WHEREAS, the untimely passing of Gordon Boblitt causes members of the City Council to share with all people of South San Francisco their deep sorrow, and WHEREAS, Mr. Boblitt's twenty-two year residency in this City resulted in many civic contributions including memberships on the Planning Commission, Regional Planning Committee representing this City, Parks and Open Space Com- mittee, Capital Improvement Committee, and Public Works Com- mittee, and WHEREAS, his successful election to the City Council in April of 1972 best exemplified his determined efforts to improve the quality of life in South San Francisco; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Council extends its deepest condolence to the family of Gordon Boblitt in this moment of their great personal loss and the hope that his contributions may in some way soften the shock of his premature passing.
