CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE
WILLOW AVENUE SUBJECT TO RESERVATION
OF CERTAIN EASEMENTS AND TO VACATE
CERTAIN SANITARY SEWER EASEMENTS,
AND SETTING OF PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING SAID VACATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council intends to vacate certain sani-
tary sewer easements, more particularly described in Exhibit A
attached, and shown on map entitled "Abandoned City Easements,"
dated February 7, 1973, on file with the City Clerk, and
WHEREAS, the City Council also intends to vacate a por-
tion of Willow Avenue, more particularly described in Exhibit B,
attached, and as shown on maps entitled "Vacation of Willow
Avenue," dated July 28, 1971, and "Easements for Sanitary Sewers
" dated
to Be Reserved from Abandonment of Willow Avenue,
July 28, 1971, on file in the City Clerk's office, and
WHEREAS, the public convenience and necessity require
the reservation of easements as described in parcels 1 and 2,
Exhibit C, pages 1 and 2, attached;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing be
conducted concerning said vacations and reservation of ease-
ments on May ?, 1973, at 8:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council
Chambers, South San Francisco, California
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a specia~ meeting
held on the ~2th day of February , 19 73 , by the

West 259.90 feet from a granite monument on the northerly line of Grand Avenue,

RESERVATION TO ABANDONMENT
OF WILLOW AVENUE
PARCEL 1
All that real property situate in the City of South San Francisco, State
of California, described as follows:
An easement for sanitary sewers 10 feet in width, being 5 feet on each
side of the following described line:
BEGINNING at a point in the southeasterly' line of Willow Avenue
(formerly Ashton Avenue), a 50 foot wide right of way, which point is
distant along said line South 53° 15' West 155.96 fe;t from the angle point
in said southeasterly line of Willow 'Avenue, said point of beginning also
being the northwesterly terminus of the centerline of that certain easement
granted to the City of South San Francisco by deed dated September 6, 1919
and recorded October 20, 1919 in Book 285 of Deeds at page 422, Official

Records of San Mateo County; thence from said point of beginning North
45° 31' 55" West 35.43 feet; thence North 53015' East 147.5 feet and
North 16° 17' 12" East 75.6 feet more or less to the southwesterly line of
Grand Avenue and the terminus of this 10 foot easement.
