CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT -
FIRE HOSE.
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council
and published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined
and declared on the 16 day of February , 19 73,
for the purchase of supplies and equipment as describe--d--and
specified:
FIRE HOSE: 1200' of 1-1/2", 1800' of 2-1/2" and
200 ' of 3"
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said
proposals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and
hereby awards the contract for purchasing said supplies
and equipment to the lowest responsible bidder, at the
unit prices named in their bid to wit:
The American Rubber Mfg. Co.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to
make and enter into a written contract with said successful
bidder, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed
to attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal
of the City.
3. That funds shall be encumbered as set forth on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a adjourned regular meeting
held on the 12 day of March , 19 73 , by
the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN Patrick E. Ahern, William A. Borba,
F. Frank Mammini and Warren Steinkamp
